Junior

Our last little pup.  Junior.  She has been one of the family favorites from day 1.
I love her ears, one up, one down.  She is very playful.  She watches her mom and tries to do what Brooke is doing, like fetch, and "soccer".  We even took her out to a ranch the other day and she tried to chase those sheep with her mom.  It was pretty cool.
Junior is also a smart little puppy.  We have been working with her walking on leash.  She was resistant at first, but has caught on quickly.  She sleeps in her kennel at night.  She has gotten good about going in there by herself without me picking her up to put her in.
I know this is a bad picture, right?  Well, I saw it and said, "that is so Jr."  She is very curious, and likes to be in the middle of the action.  I couldn't resist posting it.

I was asked, "Why is she the last one?"  I wondered that too.  However, let me tell you, someone had to be last and I am glad it was her.  We love having her around.  Everyone is looking for something different in a puppy.  Calm or energetic.  Traditional Black and White or Merle.  Long hair or short hair.  Whatever.  But let me assure you there is nothing "wrong" with this girl.  We are just waiting for the right family for her.

Kiev a.k.a. Ocho

I am going to miss this handsome little face.  Kiev (a.k.a. Ocho) is leaving this weekend.  I love that when I go outside and sit on the lawn he comes and sits on my lap to cuddle.  I keep telling him he is not a lap dog.  I am sure he will be a good boy for Markus and Caraline.

Goodbye Patty

Patty is gone.
I am surprised how attached I had gotten to her.  She is so sweet and smart.  I hope her new family can love her as much as I do.

I Wonder

Brooke and Jr.
Sometimes I wonder if Brooke was anything like Junior as a puppy.  At times they seem so alike.  I wish we had know her then.

Lucky Rue

I was beyond thrilled when a dear friend of mine contacted me and said she wanted Rue.  I enjoyed watching her kids play with the puppies when they came to visit.  I know Rue will be given lots of love and attention.  She is one lucky puppy to be in such an awesome family.

8 Weeks Old

The puppies are old enough to leave us for their forever families.  It has been fun seeing their personalities develop.  They are so playful and smart.  Everybody has their favorites, except me of course!  They are all my favorite.

Training

We have a lot of fun with our puppies.  But life isn't all fun and games.  We also work with our puppies.  We have worked with them on potty training.  We are also working on the "Sit" command.   Here is a short video of Jane learning to Sit.  She is catching on quickly.

Playful Puppies

The puppies are all about playing.  They love toys, shoes, wrestling, and of course Aunt Gypsy.

Bye Riley

Riley (aka Moe) has found his forever family.  I was excited to meet Jim and Heather.  I know they are going to love Riley and give him a good home.  They were so excited to get him home.

Duke's Days are Numbered

Duke has found his new family!  We are happy to have him at home with us for a while longer. It will be an exciting day when he gets to go home with his new owner, Angela.
