Beginner's Agility

 

Porter and Blaze signed up for beginner agility classes with Good Dog Agility.  It was so much fun watching them improve and bond each week.

Porter's favorite part of class was when they got to run the full course.  Blaze's favorite part about class was the one on one time and all the rewards.  I thought they were both rock stars.  Nothing seemed to faze Blaze.

I am really excited about the connection and potential between these two.

BIRTHday!

APRIL 17, 2014

 Brooke went into labor around 1 o'clock in the morning.  She did a great job. 
6 puppies
5 Females 1 Male
1 B&W, 1 Tri, 4 Merles

I love her face in this picture.  It looks like I felt after no sleep the night before.

Brooke Herding Sheep

We were invited by a local rancher to let Brooke in with his sheep.  She got so excited as soon as she saw them and wanted to get right to work.  This was the first time she had even been around sheep.  It was so fun to see her naturally try to herd them.  I would love to get her some training and see her really boss them sheep.

Blaze Herding Goats

When Blaze was 9 months old we took him to "Woofstock" in Chandler. There was a vendor there that had a pen set up with goats and you could have your dog instinct tested.  We put Blaze in there with the goats.  After walking the fence and playing to the audience he realized that there were these strange creatures in there with him and he got right to work.



I am going to create a Facebook group for Brooke's Brood.  I hope anyone who has adopted one of our pups will join.  I would love to see how they are all doing.  I am not very techie though and hope everyone can have patience with me.
